The 'Old Man Emu' brand gets its name from the Emu's ability to maintain great stability when moving over uneven terrain at high speeds. This GVM upgrade kit is designed and engineered to deliver better handling, increased comfort and heavier load capability. Kit contents: front shock absorbers, rear shock absorbers, front coil springs, rear leaf springs, greasable shackle kit, greasable fixed end pin kit, G shackle bush kit, driveline kit, u bolt, washer and nuts.
A label advising the revised GVM is provided in this kit.
The V5 document will also need to be sent to the DVLA, and if accepted they will send back a new V5 registration document for the owner of the vehicle within 2-6 weeks reflecting the increased GVW.

In principle, existing Ford warranties remain. However, restrictions arising from respective warranty conditions equally apply. In particular, it should be noted that Ford assumes no liability for repairs that might be required in consequence of use in motorsport. In case a part is installed which is not permitted on public roads, the general type approval may expire.
